Tips & Tricks
Focus on wall and tower upgrades before recruiting expensive soldiers — a strong defense lets you survive long enough to build an economy
Wait until you have a stable resource income before attacking neighboring zones — colonizing too early can leave your city vulnerable to counterattacks
Diversify your army composition — mixing different soldier types with varied abilities counters a wider range of enemy wave compositions
Watch enemy wave patterns carefully — some waves favor certain damage types, so adjust your tower placements between waves for maximum efficiency

Discuss: Fortress Clash
Finally a tower defense game that actually makes you think! I love how you have to balance defense vs expansion — I lost my city twice because I got too greedy colonizing new territories before upgrading my walls. Lesson learned.
The progression in this game is chef's kiss. Every upgrade feels earned and you can really feel your army getting stronger. Wave 500+ gets seriously challenging but the satisfaction of surviving is unreal.
Great strategy game with surprisingly deep mechanics. The art style is charming and the territory system adds a nice twist beyond just placing towers. Wish there were more hero abilities though — that's the only thing keeping it from 5 stars.
