Tetrix Online: Stack, spin, and clear lines!

Tetrix Online is a fast, colorful Tetris-style puzzle game where you rotate and stack falling blocks on a grid to complete horizontal lines and rack up points. Blocks fall faster as you climb through the levels, so every move counts when the grid starts to fill up. Whether you have two minutes or two hours, the chase for a high score makes every drop feel like a tiny high-stakes puzzle.

Did You Know?

Tetrix Online borrows the same falling-block DNA as the 1984 Soviet classic Tetris — the original was programmed by Alexey Pajitnov on a Soviet Electronika 60, and the simple 'rotate, place, clear' loop has remained one of the most cloned puzzle formulas in gaming history.

Key Features

Classic Block-Stacking Gameplay: Rotate and arrange colorful falling blocks to fill and clear horizontal lines.
Speed That Ramps Up: Each level falls a bit faster, so your decision-making has to keep up.
Combo Scoring System: Clear multiple lines in a single drop to rack up big bonus points.
Five-Piece Preview Queue: Plan ahead by looking at the next five blocks coming down the pipe.
No Time Limit Per Drop: Take a breath between pieces without the game punishing you for thinking.
Quick Restart Anytime: One tap and you are back at the bottom of the grid, ready for another run.

Why You'll Love It

If you're a fan of elegant puzzle games, a good brain workout, and the sheer satisfaction of solving a tricky problem, Tetrix Online is tailor-made for you. It's perfect for those moments when you want to unwind with a mentally stimulating activity, offering a refreshing blend of challenge and accessibility. The gradual difficulty curve ensures that you're always learning and growing, making every solved puzzle feel like a true victory.

How to Play Tetrix Online

Blocks fall from the top of the screen one piece at a time, and your job is to move and rotate them to complete full rows. When a line fills from edge to edge, it disappears and you earn points. The game ends when the stacked blocks reach the top of the grid, so clear lines quickly and leave gaps for future pieces. Use hard drops when the spot is obvious and soft drops when you still want to slide a piece into place.

Disclaimer: These are the standard controls for this type of game on PC Browser with Keyboard/Mouse. The actual controls may be slightly different.

Action / PurposeKey(s) / Gesture
Move Left: A or Left Arrow. Move Right: D or Right Arrow. Rotate: W or Up Arrow. Soft Drop: S or Down Arrow. Hard Drop: Spacebar.

Tips & Tricks

1.

Leave one column open on the right (the classic 'T-spin' setup) so you can slide I-pieces in to clear four lines at once for huge points.

2.

Don't flatten the top of your stack. Aim for a bumpy, even surface so the next piece always has a clean place to slot in.

3.

Hard-drop a piece only when you are 100% sure of the spot — a fast hard drop into the wrong column is the fastest way to lose.

4.

When blocks speed up, switch focus from scoring big combos to surviving. A clean, even stack beats a fancy line clear that leaves gaps.

Honestly the cleanest Tetris-style browser game I've played. Controls feel responsive and the speed-up curve is fair, not brutal.

Addicting. I sat down to play 'one round' and an hour disappeared. The 5-piece preview queue really makes you plan ahead.

Great pick-up-and-play puzzle. Works perfectly on my phone during a commute — keyboard works fine when I switch to my laptop later.
